The Institute for Advanced Medical Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.

The Institute for Advanced Medical Education designates this continuing medical education activity for a maximum of 16 credit hours in Category 1 of the AMA Physicians Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
