Currently Chairman of Radiology at Maimonides Medial Center, Clinical Professor of Radiology at New York University School of Medicine and Adjunct professor of Radiology at SUNY Downstate Medical School. Dr. Beltran has previously served as Chairman or Section Chief at three University affiliated Departments of Radiology, most recently, Hospital for Joint Disease Orthopedic Institute in New York, NY.

He is the author of three books, has published more than 100 papers and contributed to numerous articles and chapters in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, many specifically on studies of the bones and joints. He has made presentations on MRI at many national and international meeting and symposia. In addition to being much in demand to share his knowledge as a great lecturer, Dr. Beltran is also actively involved in teaching residents at both Maimonides Radiology Residency Program as well as at the SUNY Downstate Medical School.
