Course Objectives
After completing this course, the participant should be able to:
- Discuss the embryologic distinction between different types of congenital diaphragmatic hernias.
- Review the differential diagnosis of a congenital diaphragmatic hernia.
- Identify the sonographic signs associated with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia.
- Understand the physiologic mechanism behind the success of in-utero therapy for a liver-up congenital diaphragmatic hernia.

Physicians, sonographers and others who perform and/or interpret ultrasound.
