Course Objectives
After completing this course, the participant should be able to:
- Describe the clinical significance of abnormalities of the umbilical cord size, shape and vascularity.
- Apply ultrasound findings to detect clinically significant changes in the umbilical cord.
- Improve pregnancy outcome through identification of cord abnormalities associated with high risk pregnancy.
Target Audience
Physicians, sonographers and others who perform and/or interpret obstetrical ultrasound.
