Course Objectives
After completing this course, the participant should be able to:
- Describe the spectrum of signs and symptoms of uterine leiomyomas.
- Classify leiomyomas pre-operatively to allow the selection of the most appropriate operative technique.
- Improve patient management through the use of transvaginal ultrasound to differentiate leiomyomas from adenomyosis.
Target Audience
Physicians, sonographers and others who perform and/or interpret obstetrical ultrasound.
