Course Objectives
After completing this course, the participant should be able to:
Identify acute versus chronic deep vein thrombosis.
Describe deep, perforator, and superficial vein anatomy in the lower extremity.
Target Audience
Physicians, sonographers and others who perform and/or interpret ultrasound.
* AMA Category 1 credits are used by physicians and other groups like PAs and certain nurses. Category 1 credits are accepted by the ARDMS, CCI, and Sonography Canada.
