Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant will:
Accurately Identify Breast Anatomy and Breast Structures
Analyze the anatomical breast knowledge to recognize normal vs abnormal breast tissue in breast imaging.
Compare Breast Cancer Epidemiology and Key Risk Factors in the context of patient history and screening guidelines.
Evaluate mammographic images and distinguish normal and abnormal findings in different types of mammograms.
Using the Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System (BI-RADS) assessment categories, formulate a plan while evaluating the implications of each category for patient management and follow-up
Target Audience
Physicians, sonographers, and others who perform and/or interpret ultrasound.
